i love the things this country is supposed to stand for, but i can't stand the ways our leaders do things... or the way the "typical" American thinks. it's almost as if many of us are robotic to the way our government does things. the proof in this really is that someone like Ron Paul was here to lead us, and a majority of the American people just shrugged him off. this man was the BEST candidate for the job, and now we have Obama, McCain, and Hillary to choose from. yeah, great job guys.

Is Ron Paul's perspective not the same as what Reverend Wright said in his sermon? Wright said (with angry passion) that they attacked us because of hatred we incited. Do two wrongs make a right? I don't believe so, but like Paul (and Wright) said, how can we not expect repercussions?
Clearly Ron Paul knows the constitution, but so does Obama; his J.D. is in consitutional law. Obama is the best bet if Paul is silenced. They aren't that diferent.

If this were a truly intelligent country, the Democratic nominee would be Dennis Kucinich or Chris Dodd and the Republican nominee would be Ron Paul... and then of course Dodd or Kucinich would win (because people would be smart enough to realize libertarian economic policies are only in the best interest of those already powerful and wealthy).

No... They're very different. I don't agree with all the attacks against Wright & Obama, but that's not relevant to Obama's campaign. Obama is for more government, not less. Obama doesn't respect our soveriegnty and wants to send more troops to the Middle East, not less. Obama is more of the same elitism.

untrue... Rev. Wright said that God had basically "Condemned America" for her actions, and that is why the "Bad" things are happening.
Dr. Paul is saying that it is a logical occurrence based upon the blow back of a failed Foreign Policy. That isn't a sovereign act, it is a political action.

I've been doing a lot of web searching lately and I just have a few questions.....where is ron paul? does the media really have that much influence and control over the american people...this seemed to be a guy who was going to defeat the odds. What happened?? Is obama the next best choice? Does anyone even like mccain? Why does the rich influence the less wealthy so easily? If you don't make millions why would you vote for the same guy as the millionaire does? Please give feedback...thx!

The media did show favor to other candidates, but the ignorance & apathy of Americans is the real problem. Obama is not going to change the course we are on & of course neither will McCain. People are bought into the 2-party corruption. They blind themselves to other choices. They say a vote for 3rd party is a waste, but vote for the 2-party system is a waste. Look to Libertarians to save this country.
