Yeah you normally don't hear the hit from a camera that's not an onboard camera but you did here since they hit the wall right where the camera on the wall was.

Why do we always dread the big one. It hooks fans and usually drivers aren't hurt. At least 75% of Nascar fans watch to see crashes. Why are you dreading the crashes? That's why they invented safety equipment.

Because people get hurt in crashes and it takes out some of the competitors that would make the race more exciting. later on we may like to look at the video for the wow factor, but the race becomes more dull after a huge wreck because there are half the competitors as there were before the crash.

i was watching this for the "historical" purposes. i want to know what was the vibe in NASCAR back in these days and the times and the cars and the events so thats why i watch alot of these old school nascar footages.

sorry man. look i like the crashing. nascar would be nowhere near where it is today if everyone raced and noone crashed. im glad when people get out okay but stuff like mcdowells crash at texas was freakin awesome. the other crashes i never saw i watch, like this one, to see cool crashing. i dont like fatal crashes and i bet u dont either.

I see what you are saying. I am saying is that at the moment of the crash, there is that fear that someone might be hurt. Especially pre-2001. Later on, we look at these wrecks for the "wow" factor. When I see McDowells wreck at Texas, I think "How did he walk away from that?!" not "Holy crap, that was awesome, I hope that happens this weekend!"

Once you knw that he is ok, though, would you watch a crash on youtube or post one like you did because you want to show that ken schrader is alright or to watch a hard crash?

i like racing at like talladega and bristol but the parades around 1 and a half miles are boring. thanks and i will always like wrecksonly if the drivers are ok.
