Breathing control exercises are best used when you have a better supported position like lying,kneeling, bench firing etc. They will only make accuracy worse with no support, offhand shots with a hunting rifle. Especially a gun like that which is designed for snapshooting charging animals at close quarters.

vuxfeon ACTUALLY knows what he's talking about, and you dont breath with a T-rex, breathing isn't gonna off set the rediculous recoil your going to get... accuracy is not of the top prioritys while hunting or even target practice with a gun of that bore.

Used this gun to hunt cape buffalo in Africa. The kick is not too bad if you are ready for it. Also never met someone who could only be accurate the first few seconds of aiming a gun, that is extremely humerous. To the person who said accuracy isnt a top priority, I guess thats true if you are unethical.

also, at 50 yards offhand, with some somewhat random loads and somewhat random sights, the rifle is accurate. i have a target, but dont have pics of it...

Accuracy not top priority? Maybe if you are hunting bugs bunny but with cape buffalo accuracy and horsepower are most certainly top priority. Those things will kill you, alot.

Firstly, Switzerland has more guns per capita than the US, and it has one of the lowest violent crime rates in the whole of Europe. Criminals don't buy guns from the local gun dealer; too expensive and traceable, they get them on the black market, therefore banning guns would take firearms only out of the hands of law abiding citizens.

that's a good theory, but you'd be wrong. The vast majority of shooting are committed by people with criminal records, with illegal firearms. the fact is, that firearms are used in approximately 2 million self defense cases each year, there are only 3,600 murders committed with guns annually. Imagine what would happen to the crime stats if those perpetrators of self defense were stripped of their rights, and made victims.
