I watched this last night though confusing it was awsome and followed no horror genre rules at all and captivating to say the least.

Watching this movie online right now, ok, I paused to youtube it. I laughed when the first ghost suddenly reappear at the fire escape. Basically, I figured that this is a Silent Hill wannabe the minute they all went into the elevator. I got a hunch that the guy with the briefcase is an asshole before he even starts being an ass. They got everything similar to silent hill, the tough security guy, the gorgeous hero & heroine, the weird freak and the mysterious lil girl all trapped in a hospital.

This film's got some novel ideas and nice suspense (probably some influence from Stephen King as well) but it didn't answer the mystery it proposed in the film. I quite like it in general. Bottom line is it doesn't fall into the clinche of the so called horror films
I cracked laughing when Mr Lordi came on. When was the last time a horror film that scared you featured a monster, wearing leather jacket and leather pants XD (he just wasn't carrying his guitar XD)

Just watched this movie... it was predictable and confusing (if that makes any sense). My little sister and I made predictions of who was going to die and in what order within the first 15 mins of the movie and it played out exactly as we had predicted. At the end I was kind of confused and felt a bit unsatisfied. Guess I'm just not that great in seeing the "deeper meaning" in certain flicks.
