4:50 was the best 'j::j'
5:08 was so unexpected.
Seriously this is one of Warners' best. The Chuck Jones period was downright surreal at times. And you can't beat those facial expressions. I wonder; could this cartoon have been a reference to UFO sightings? This was around the time people first starting claiming to see them (early '50s), and of course they were widely dismissed as "mass hysteria".

Michael Maltese was certainly busy in the fifties, to be certain...and definitely hitting his stride. Great writing!
