many people are very ignorant when it comes to classical music. They never get out of the same circle of music they hear so they just think of classical music as boring and quite.
I love Shosty... his music has so much spirit and passion and without it just being random clashing notes. Some of his work isn't so wild... the contrast from the first and second movements of his 5th symphony are quite drastic, ranging from sheer rage to a Russian folk tune... gotta love him!
Though this will be utterly foreign to you, I'll still say it: Tastes can be wrong. Quite wrong. We justly loathe the fly because of its horrid tastes: feces, vomit, and corpses. But to explain all this would take an essay, and frankly, you're just not worthy. Adieu.
