Listen to Black Dog by Led Zeppelin it came out before this version. Resurrection Band was groundbreaking no doubt for the Christian Rock but they borrowed heavily from popular secular bands another example is the striking similarity of the guitar solo on White Noise to Eruption by Van Halen which came out first as well.

Dude, you're an idiot, all rock music is stolen, seculiar or "Christian" it's ALL stolen. Just like Ecclesiastes, "there is nothing new under the sun". Led Zep stole it from Blind Willie Johnson, Rez stole it from Zep, the only one who made money was Jimmy Page, but Rez band gave me something positive and glorifying to God to listen to that rocked for the Rock, Jesus Christ.... amen!

Whatever dude. I guarantee you wouldn't call me an idiot in person because you'd be sitting your now broken teeth out, There is one thing to have 'influences' and quite another to blatantly plagiarize riffs. The devil still makes all the good music and christianity is a crock of recycled mythic feces.

Hey guys, lets not quibble about who stole who`s riff, everyone has their influences, be it Jimmy Page, Jimmy Hendrix or Jimmy Vaughan. These guys rock,(I know because I saw them at Corner Stone in `86[ya i know, I`m showing my age]), and if you play an instrument, especially guitar, there are only so many chords... Rez is playing for the Lord, using their talents for Him. And by the way, music is a gift from God, NOT the devil, be it Metal, Rock, Classical, Jazz... Praise the Lord

I still think christianity is mythical feces. I'm glad I don't have to limit my musical tastes over dogma. I saw Rez several times as a teen and was even at JPUSA in the late 1990's. Sorry if you don't like my opinion and no whiny little sermon can change my opinion.

Just want to thank you for giving me a trip down memory lane. Since all my Rez stuff is vinyl or bootlegged on cassette, haven't heard it in years. Brought tears to my eyes remembering how they ministered to a person growing through a lot of unresolved hurt and anger. Wish I could find a way to force my own angsty teens to hear it and not see only a parents "Glen Miller Band" dinosaur.
