Radio 1990 was a thirty-minute program during primetime that ran on weekdays on USA network. The program ran somewhere in the 1982 to 1986 time frame and was hosted by Lisa Robinson and Kathryn Kinley. Apparently Lisa Robinson was the original host and then became an interviewer/reporter after Kathryn Kinley was brought in.

Watch Freddie Mercury - The Untold story on You Tube.... His mother confirms that they were Indians immigrants to Zanzibar. The Parsi community in India has Persian origins but that must have been centuries ago. Parsis are basically Indians. You are right in saying that he was born in Zanzibar but he did most of his chooling back home in Panchgani, India. Bulsara Indian surname. Freddie's first girlfriend also an Indian & has been interviewd in this 10-12 parts documentary loaded on You tube.

He has stated that he doesn't like interviews. I think the reason why he sort of cuts off interviewers and speaks so quickly is to get it over as soon as possible. In his mind he probably thinks the interviewer has a set # of questions and the sooner he answers him the sooner he will be free
