lanpbx, sorry for my vocab because I'm not a native English speaker. What i mean is, the animal of course being panic/nervous because it is a natural reflex. And yes, animal might be still fully conscious, but the fact is when blood has stopped supply to the brain, it will cause animal to feel dizziness, resulting an anesthetic effect making it less pain/suffering.

There is up to two minutes of consciosness by the animal. Are you now suggesting that the animal doesn't feel pain or terror during the cut? With the bolt stun method at least the animal knows nothing.

The fact that blood is stored for a little longer is irrelevant. The prescence of blood is not a hygene issue.
Which resataurants prefer taking halal meat? Asian? That is irrelevent anyway, as their prime concern is profit.

More nonsense. Are you now suggested the animal volunteers to lay down so that you can cut it's throat? No - any animal will need to be forced. Furthermore, European standards require that the animal be constrained in a pen. Are you now saying you know where this is not performed?

Not all animals are successfully stunned. They may be bleeding to death in a painful situation. That is more terrible and worse.
You assume it feels nothing, do you know what is happening inside the animal's brain or body? Could you confidently tell that?

- Halal and Kosher meat must be washed thoroughly. The blood contains harmful chemicals especially uric acid and consuming large amount of blood may lead to iron toxicity. Some Chinese cuisine are serving blood cube from pork.

According to Halal method the animal must be lay down before incision. Of course every animal will be afraid of dying because it is a reflexive reaction. When a sensation happens the brain will receive electrical signals from the receptors. EEG suggested that animal feels less pain due to its low electrical passage within nociceptor and brain.

i personelally think its only better to eat meat if you live a completely old fashioned way of life in which you hunt or have a farm of you own and you dot but it from a store. Absolutle need for survival only to eat meat. However atleast Halal and kosher are still alot better then eating meat from the completely brutal wetern way.

I agree with most of your comment. I own a shotgun, a rifle, and a four- wheel drive. I think a bullet in the head is a lot less brutal than hanging an animal upside down and letting it bleed to death. A bullet to the head or heart is not brutal. I live in Fl. and I hunt everyday. Doesn't mean I kill everyday, but it feeds my wife and kids for the most part.

oh yeah a gun is fine or a good and proper well made bow and arrow of any sort to if its made and used properly.:) Guns are easier of course but in a sense they are both almost as hard because owning a gun requires lots of legal paper work and what not. But over all either is fine.

well if you can own a gun more freely then thats awesome im all for that and hunting with any form of gun or bow or sling or whaatohever if you can do it. And about the western way I just dont like it when youkill animals in front of other animals or proplonged killing and suffering. Shoot with gun get it over with or if your using a bow hit a fatal regions and finish quickly with a knife.

And if you raise animals for food I dont like the idea of keeping them to cramped up together. Thats a reason why im espeically agaist veal. And dont kill baby animals.
