| I have unlocked 3G iPhone. Seller also sent a Turbo SIM card. I synced all info to iPhone, went & bought a T-Mobile SIM card, cut it & inserted it w/Turbo SIM. However, it isn't working giving a SIM failure or invalid SIM message. The seller from eBay said that I need to unlock phone everytime I sync it from my computer/iTunes. So, my question is do I unlock it via jailbreak method, via Restore from iTunes, or via unlocking an iPhone? Can someone please help me? |

| I accidentally upgraded my first-generation 8GB iPhone (1.1.4) via iTunes... and now it won't let me make calls or use any of the features. My carrier is T-Mobile. I bought this phone unlocked a month ago. After I accidentally upgraded it via iTunes, all it does now is direct me to some emergency call option. It's viewing my T-Mobile sim card as foreign now, or something.What should I do? I really need help! Thank you for your time. |

| downgrade to i-phone version 1.1.1, search Google for 1.1.1 apple iphone version download. Get itunes out, put your iphone into recovery mode( use google to find out how), and hold shift on pc (command on mac) then press restore. Find the 1.1.1 version, and it will have an error. Don't worry. Now kick it out of recovery mode with iNdependence or something. Then jailbreak it. Done. I had to do this with my own. So you can trust my info. |

| I somehow relocked my phone via itunes as well. Now I do not know how to unlock it again to its former 1.1.4 version. I've tried to downgrade like yousuggested, and when i connect it to iDemocracy (the windows version of iNdependence) but my computer is not recognizing the iphone connected. Ive tried restarting and it still isnt changing. |
