ron110n - your comment is very childish. Money (currency) replaced the old method of bartering & trading with gold. Money was NEVER worshipped as a god. Clearly you know nothing about the history of banking or the bank of england. A scotsman took charge of the royal finances/gold and was given official permission by the royal household to do so. The seal of approval was a portrait of the monarch. World banks then followed the model of the bank of england so mimic the image theme in their region

ron110n. one last point. If you look at roman coins from various dates you will see images of emperors who ruled at the time. These emperors were not worshipped. It was used as a seal of approval and demonstrated which person was in charge at that time

mapollo. thanks for your comment. Yes I indeed have read the 1611 bible. Infact some versions today still honour saints. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. However, carving an image and bowing to it is wrong as i have quoted from scripture below. May I add that the scripture was not written by hislop or jack chick. It is a command from God. You also mention feast days. May i suggest you research Constantine. You may find what he did very interesting. God bless

Hi Ron110n. My response is not arrogant & apologise if it comes across that way. I repsonded in a truthful manner in regards to why the queen is printed on the currency. It has nothing whatsoever to do with religion or the worship of her. It never had. In regards to my profile I couldnt be bothered to fill in the tid bits but just for you I will complete it with a photo tomorrow and will buzz you when its done. Nothing to hide at all. God bless

If you read the Greek you will find a different interpretation of 'graven', but that is more like counting the angels on the head of a pin rather than the spirit of God's admonishment. How do you reconcile your interpretation with the fact that God required images to be created? Scripture does not contradict itself, but it may seem so when humans take passages out of context. The bottom line is that we do not make images to worship.
We worship the Word of God - Christ.

Mary didn't give us ANY signs because Mary, the mother of Jesus is in heaven and there is a great gulf fixed between the living & the dead (Luke 16:26) & the dead cannot communicate with he living. ummmm, animals are tasty and good for you. Since the beginning of man, there has been the slaughter of animals for food. it has been working well for a long time, why change it? i think God put animals here on earth so we can eat them, or else most of them would have no purpose, and we would be really hungry. And if we werent supposed to eat them GOd shouldnt have made them so damn tasty and good.
