Amazing, this movie was done over 30 years ago, and this scene is more relevant now than it was then. Brilliant. Peter Finch died not long after Network was made, but his role as Howard Beale has stood the test of time.

revolution isn't the solution. i don't think the real solutions in life can be put into words, or given a name. i know that sounds even crazier than what this movie is about, but ... ...and while i agree with the general sentiment of this clip, i also want to point out that if you want to sound revolutionary then it's logical to jump to the most common thing (tv watching) and hilight it's flaws. it's like a blanket counterculture statement, if there is such a thing.
