The M5 motor is fantastic in the original Z8 (I have driven one). I don't care if Alpina is trying to "focus" the car... I'd like to slap the engineer who had the bright idea of taking that powerplant out of it for a de-tuned version. Alpina = lame.

Alpina is a SEPARATE COMPANY that makes it own line of cars
They are not called BMW's but ALPINAs, their completely independent of BMW, they simply use their cars
