Great post! Thanks very much. I'd seen this video 20 years ago, and not since. Just love at 3:17 when they take a swipe at the Gregory Hines/Barishnikov dance scene from "White Nights." Subtle, but great. There's also a extended 7 minute version of this song on the "Running Scared" Soundtrack CD.

Man, I must have watched this video a million times as a kid during the summer it came out.
It's hard to believe Billy Crystal was ever as buff as he was in this movie and this video. The dude was ripped! He was super cool back then, the cutting edge of comedy. Now? He's the lamest of the lame.

Well,Billy was also 38 years old. He's now 60! Huge difference my friend. You cant expect a person to be the same in their 60's as they were in their 30's. He's now viewed as sort of an old time comedian, back then he was cutting edge. I was 16 or 17 when this came out and loved every minute of it. The only thing that saddens me was the death of Gregory hines a few years ago. He was a good guy and died way too young.

Never saw the movie, never saw the video, but i heard the song also in my childhood and it makes me wanna jump out of my chair and just enjoy life and love. These R the good things about childhood but with the crap they make nowadays what will the childhood of the children of 2 day will look like later? And indeed enjoy the sweet freedom. Makes me feel happy and good spirit song. he 80´s wonderful.
