Sometimes I don't know wether to thank Hemingway or to despise him for his book and all the massification it has brought to our festivities, and how foreigners perceive them. Because it's not just the bulls (who by the way, do not run free through the city), the alcohol and craziness, the so called "fiesta". It's much more than that.

Has anyone walked through the streets of Pamplona in daylight, in the afternoon, seen the folkloric festivals (btw again, NOT flamenco in the north of Spain, thnx), the happy children with their parents going to the fair, and so on? Of course not, that part is unimportant, what really matters is just how cruel we are towards a group of animals. Please, remember HUMAN rights first.
