I noticed Craig Ferguson's being cured of your gayness joke didn't really make sense without context so here it is: earlier in the monologue Bill Maher made a joke about Ted Haggard. He is the evangelical priest that was having meth-fueled gay sex with prostitutes and was later "cured of his gayness" through some sort of jesus therapy.

RELIGION is an opinion. ALL OPINIONS ARE UP FOR CRITICISM AND ARGUMENT.
Bigotry is much different than criticizing someone's opinion. You cannot criticize someone for simply being themselves (race, ethnicity, sexual preference) but you CAN criticize a person's opinion.
Get your head out of your ass and do a little thinking first. Politically correct people like you really piss me off because you have a problem with people who want to tell it like it is.

I'm tired of all of this, let's be tolerant BS. Religion controls people, divides people, steals money from people and kills people. People need to grow up, read something other than their "bibles" and live in reality. If you can believe in talking snakes and virgin births, you can believe anything, so I'm starting a religion on fairies in the garden, I'll have someone write a book about it, it'll be big.

ok first of all, i dont know if anyone else know this but joseph smith was actually a very high ranking freemason when he started mormonism, and if you know anything about freemasonry you know that it is deeply devoted to the occult and paganism and putting their secret symbolism everywhere. like if u look at the doors to the mormon temple in salt lake u will see 2 very distinctly illuminati symbols, the eye of horus & the handshake on the outside doors & if u dont believe me look it up youself

so ya basically bill is totally right, because not only is mormonism a completely bogus religion that was started by a con man, but most mormons dont even realize the true nature of their religion, that their religion was started by a very good liar who secretly is devoted to the occult. sorry if i offend any mormons who might be on here but seriously u should really do your research and look into your own religion before you try to convert anyone else

Bill has suspended his own critical thinking - he doesn't differentiate between good religions and bad religions, just lumps them altogether. "I hate pea soup - all soup bad!" Jesus who preaches love, even of enemies, is just as bad as Mohammed who preached hate of all none-Muslims. Bill is being intellectually dishonestthe way he presnets his case. The case for Christianity and Judaism is very good in that they are ancient religions based upon authentic documentation and eyewitness accounts.

Mormon and Muslim religions are obviously fake religions made up by power hungry men - Mohammed and Joseph Smith. The Bible was written by many authors, it was a collaborative effort and the canon agreed upon through tests of authenticity and consistency throughout the Scriptures. The book of Mormon and the Koran were written by one man each and attested as authentic only by their authors.
