SO THIS IS HOW I DEEP CLEAN MY MAKEUP BRUSHES! I'VE BEEN USING THE "ROUGH" TECHNIQUE LOL FOR YEARS AND MY BRUSHES ARE STILL IN GREAT SHAPE AND SUPER SOFT!(HEHEHE) THE FUNNY THING IS I NEVER THOUGHT I WAS ROUGH ON MY BRUSHES UNTIL I SAW MYSELF ON VIDEO WASHING THEM! AGAIN LIKE I ALWAYS SAY TAKE WHAT YOU LIKE FROM EVERYONES VIDEOS OUT THERE AND MAKE IT YOUR OWN!

i just wondered if you know any way to clean my lipgloss brushes without drying out my lipgloss????
i think ive been mixing them a little lately and need to give them a spring clean xxx

Hi my love..do you mean the ones in the actual lipgloss container like the sponge applicator? B/c i wouldn't know my lovely friend I just leave them stained LOL! But i know to prevent mixing in the future just take a clean lip brush or a different application to the tip then apply it to your lips so the applicator stays clean :) But im tooooo lazy to do that! LOL! Hope that helped love you!

I use soap sometimes too when Ive run out of brush cleanser. When I bought a brush from chanel awhile ago the makeup artist said to only use soap and water to clean it so I guess it can't be bad for your brushes :)

If you are to rought do the bristles fall out because i used my hand to shape it back up and i riped of all my bristles and my mac 129 was realy expensive and it pissed me of and im rought

Have you ever tried putting conditioner on them after the shampoo...I watched the Kim Kardashian make up tutorial on her website and that is what her make up artist said to do for longevity...i tried it and they came out so soft.

Lol :) I'm the same way. I'm rough with my brushes as well. Especially when I'm squeezing out the water I always feel like I'm going to pull out the hair. Oohh that's bad huh?

Hi no...I think that's why I have soo many so I can go long periods of time w/out washing them..probably every 3-4 weeks then I use MAC brush cleaner for like quick cleaning :)
