| sonic youth never really cared if their music would be listenable to the majority of the people and its that very attitude that made them as influential as they are. they also had a very good work ethic and alot of persistance. its something that u dont see anymore because most bands worry about making their songs radio friendly so they can get signed, which in my opinion is not what music is all about. |

| Daydream Nation. It's their best for sure. None of their albums are terrible but some are way better than others. Definetly pick up a copy of Daydream Nation (I own an ORIGINAL vinyl copy!!). Goo is also a great one. Anything pre-1993 is going to be great for sure. The newer stuff is still good, just not AS good. |
