This video become from polisch movie "Tylko Rock" (Only Rock), but here is much longer. Classix Nouveaux was in Poland in 80' a great superstar. It's simply wonderful.

Actually, rockusa, you are quite worng. Classix Nouveaux was not the "first" and they did not "start it all" and from what I take it, the New Romantic sound and look. The sound and look were started by two completly different sources. The sound was an off set of the experimental bands such as Kraftwork working with the new synths technology and some say, a contination of Glam rock (i.e. Ziggy Stardust, Roxy music), you get the picture.

The look was started by some argue, gay men who frequented gay clubs in london with outlandish looks that went together with the music and soon straight people came from all over just for the good music and culture. Bands like Japan, and Visage, whose lead singer Steve Strange was a doorman at the forementioned clubs, were the first with the look.

If you look on the internet you will find concert photos of Japan and Visage pulling off the look and sound in way before Classix . So you are wrong, and THEY WERE THE COPIERS. Just trying to go along with a new trend.

They certainly were not the 1st New Romantic group... Kraftwerk and Roxy Music and Bowie kinda started the look, but the music style i think came to perfection with Visage, Ultravox, Japan, Spandau Ballet's 1st lp, and even the short-lived Scars! But CN had a style that was kinda all their own, so it's not really a copy.... I would say that Steve Strange of Visage (Fade to Grey) was the original prototype of New Romantic!

I fell in love with them from the because you're young video on youtube... makes me wish I lived in the 80s to experience this LOVELY, OUTSTANDING band. it's so mysterious because there's not much about them on the internet except a discography and some pictures =\

There is a full version available for download through certain P2P sights. I used to have it but it was in polish with no subtitles so I didn't understand what was going on.
Also, as far as a fansite, I maintain a page for CN on myspace that has alot of info on the band. You can find the page by doing a music search on the band from the main page.

Hi! I recognize these pictures made in Warsaw in 80's:
0.00 the Palace of Culture and Science, 0.13 the Guards' Hall, Polish actors:0.18 Jan Jankowski,
0.23 Grażyna Trela-Stawska, 1.50 Bogusław Sobczuk and Zdzisław Waredejn. It's a part of Polish film "To Tylko Rock" - "It's Only a Rock" made in 1983. Classix Nouveaux and later Sal Solo were popular in Poland.
