Kevin did not relate Obama to Neville Chamberlain. He related Obama to appeasement in general. It was the Air American dipshit who brought up Chamberlain, and it was Chris who dodged a very important debate about what is appeasment and what its effects are by not shutting the fuck up about Neville Chamberlain. Kevin should have known about Neville Chamberlain, and he should have admitted right away he didn't know who he was, but that was no excuse for Chris's ad hominem dodge tactic.

Yeah, he should have known who Chamberlain was and more about the specifics of what Bush was talking about, but he was there to speak against appeasement in general and how it relates to Iran, which was the bigger subject Bush was talking about. Bush was talking about how to deal with Iran and how Obama is wrong, which was far bigger than the subject aspect of Chamberlain. Chris would not let the debate happen.

I am explaining Kevin's point, not saying everything Bush and Kevin say is correct. They think that any kind of negotiation with somebody who is threatening you, giving into their demands at all, is appeasement. They also say that nothing else could possibly result from talking to Ahmadinejad. I can see maybe having a conversation with him in case a miracle occurs, but I also see the point that people who threaten us with irrational bullshit are not people to try to reason with.

Thimoneus, you basically say that no conflicts were won without a military conflict. But then it show your total ignorance of history, especially as the supporter of the nation who won the cold war without ever invading soviet union.
The same can be done with Iran, because the U.S has the same advantages over that nation than it had against the Soviet Union, their econimical power.
