I ain't saying it isn't possible but i think maybe it was Robbie from the band doing this solo? Or maybe Mike Bloomfield. To be honest, I think dylan is the best poet/singer/writer/rebellion etc in the whole world but i doubt he had the guitar skills to pull of a solo like this.

Oh you shouldn't underestimate Dylan's guitar skills. By the time this was recorded he had probably been playing guitar for AT LEAST 10 years, so he's bound to have picked up a thing or two :) also playing blues isn't really the hardest thing in the world to do. And Robbie would have played it much better :P
