Yes, repeal the Fed act of 1913 and the National banking act of 1864 (which was the prime reason that Lincoln's greenbacks were debt based), and raise the reserve requirement 100%. But if we base our money on gold, we may run into the fact that gold is already controlled by other central banks since it was confiscated in 1934.
Something like the monetary reform act proposed by Bill Still (Google moneymasters) might work, but it's still dangerous. We need to determine who controls the gold.
