Yes, the Old Testament DOES have violent texts, but I can't recall the last time a bunch of lunatic Christian assholes went on a rioting campaign, murdered a writer because of what he said/wrote, nor do I recall any Christian asshole slamming planes into Mecca, slicing heads off of innocents on the Internet, blowing up Buddhist statues, or blasting civilian Israeli busses.

Like I said, God knows what is in the hearts of men and women. He knows what is happening in the earth. He does not stop what is happeing, since life is but a test for human kind. Prophet Muhammad (last messenger) of Allah, loved his people so much, that he asked God to cause no more punishment to humans on earth. God has kept his promise. But he does decide when we shall die, since we can not live this test of life forever. Every test must have a start time and an end time.
