you're right. sorry for that. however, the gathering played doom metal from the very beginning. sad, slow riffs and lyrics. that's it. death metal is much more energetic.

well, if you take the album always, it is more death then doom. The music is pretty fast. Not in example with deicide or so, but if you take FE Obituary, what is definitaly death metal, always is 100 times faster. Also did they called themselves death metal in the beginning.
And why did you start the discussion. Do you like to cage music with styles? Nor it's good, nor it's bad. Two styles, much easier

emocje w piosence sa wazne, ale nie najwazniejsze. kocham mahavishnu orchestra, mimo że ich muzyka jest często oskarżana o bycie wypraną z emocji. ot, dla mnie najwazniejsza jest wirtuozeria. sprawa gustu.
