Well if you look at musicians of the 60's and 70's, a lot of similar stories come up. Ted Nugent's is just one of them.
One of the quirkiest and maybe most timely stories about the Vietnam Draft is one about the R&B singer Archie Bell. His band the Drells, recorded a number of songs, right before he was sent to 'Nam and got shot in the leg. While recovering, he heard his song, 'Tighten Up" on the radio. It was a number one hit! The only problem was no one believed that it was him. :(

Well, Nugent now makes pro-war speeches for $30K each asking other people to fly off & die for oil in Iraq so he can wave his guns around. Socialism does not work. That's been proven time and time again. Obama doesn't believe in the trickle-down effect of McCain's tax cuts for the rich, but what makes him so sure that his immense tax increases for the rich will do the country better? Let's see, corporations (and small-business owners) will pay more taxes, therefore hiring less people, and those people will say "oh, well since we're poor the government will help us out"....UH, with what money????
