in fact there is no time machine, the cabin that is supposed to make bunnies travel is just hiding a path, you have to put metallic things in it to provoke an explosion and open the way. i suppose you have to use it only in extreme situation, when you have to move the island. that's why they invented a time travel story that's supposed to prevent people to put metallic things in it and find the path. actually moving an island is quite as weird as making bunnies travel in time when i think of it.
