your supposed to be strong on your legs, and if that does happen im not sure that in muay thai a 'sweep' is the most painfull thing
just know that if you fight against a very strong guy like rammon dekkers he can konck you out with a sweep in your legs but i still think that an elbow hit in your nose hurts more
2)not likely to knock u out on a sweep(on ground use bjj) - worth the risk
3)DONT MISS!
good vid
btw, as i see his balance is bit backwards, which will make u easyly fall from your balance if the opponent kicks u same time as u kick. I had the same problem, but then I started to stand as straight as i could and kicked like for few weeks, it helped me, if u have same problem, try that. ;)
There are some drills that help illustrate when the 45 degree step is most effective.. imagine avoiding the straight right while throwing the kick... mmmm I feel another video coming on.
its the like being hit with a baseball bat or more
"the kicking style you use will depend on your body type, your coaches instruction, and other factors."
great disclaimer... hopefully it'll cut down on all the flaming from online b*dasses.
