From "Lonesome foghorn blows" at the beginnining of the series to "The World Spins" in this video, "Twin Peaks" never failed to deliver. The communal awareness of "something is happening" is a beautiful concept. In response to the comment (which I think is funny) concerning the Log Lady eating the peanuts, it seems somehow appropriate to her mystical persona--and to the song's message, "The World Spins." I think TP fans are the greatest--and the most intelligent!

I was in college when this episode originally aired. I felt completely emotionally "raped" after seeing this episode, I was actually "numb" from this. Even to this day, this episode makes me very sad.
