Actually, depending on which ukulele you have of course, the ukulele strings are in the same pitch as the four highest strings on a guitar. There is one alternative tuning available, but otherwise it's like playing a guitar sans the low E and A strings, as long as you take into account that the second (G) string on the ukulele is an octave lower than the D string. This is also why it's easy to jam with a guitar if you play the ukulele.

I've never heard somebody complain about a key before.. interesting.. why don't you like the key this is in? what do you mean by a 'male's pitch'?

what im tryin to say is that its in a female pitch.. he should play it on a male's pitch.. key of G its suppose to be like that.. since there's no one singing with him.. just like the rendition of eric clapton... and george harrison is very sensitive to that

still dont understand what you mean.. how are different pitches feminine or masculine? where did this idea come from? ive never heard of this before but it sounds interesting!!
i think the beatles themselves have transposed around a little bit when they played.. they played this in A once... regardless I still think jake's version is great, even more so because of its uniqueness
it's what he changes that makes it so unique, the key is one of these but hardly the most significant in my opinion

i still love the version the way it is... i have nothing against jake.. i adore his talent.. but not with this rendition.. im an avid fan of george and beatles as well..ne way thanks for asking bout my opinion.. he almost got it..maybe soon he'll do it the way it should be
