Good choice! I think Sean Connery should also be in the conversation (with makeup to make him look older). I think Jamie Foxx should also be in the fold to play Obama (also with makeup), but I don't know if I'd put him up there with Will and Denzel.

Obama's got a funny speech pattern. He tends to pause frequently in one sentence. A talented impersonator could make a lot from this, and improvise a bit -- like make up stuff. Impersonations don't have to be entirely on point, sometimes not even close, see Will Ferrell's impersonation of that guy that shakes a lot (but really doesn't).
