No sure why people are "negging" this comment. I agree there's Beck then all the rest. Meaning, he alsways had an unique style and never locked himself into a limiting, little genre box (like Clapton did) Always experimenting and thinking outside the box. Beck is a true genius who has influnced me in mt playing a helluva a lot. Back in the day we spent countless hours listening to LP records trying to figure it out HOW THE HECK DOES HE GET THAT OR THAT SOUND. OLD SCHOOL BABY!

Fuck Clapton, he is a boring player that was actually playing American blues the wrong way and you Brits used to call him God. Hendrix was God, not Clapton. Beck is far more talented then Clapton ever was or will be. Fucking comercial asswipe heroine junkie pussy! No wonder he got all those Grammys, HE'S A COMERCIAL POP FUCKTARD! as much as i apreciate the playing of virtuostic guitarists i think that they often dont make music that is as good as less talented players, ie page isnt as good as petrucci but dream theater still blows

a bit fast in the beginning, it just shows that Jeff never tries to play things exactly like the record. In that way he is jazz. I have loved this guys playing since I heard a 45 that had on the flip side I'M Not Talking. It will be a sad day when he puts down the guitar. Thanks Jeff for the many exciting albums/cassettes/CD's and I guess digital stuff too.

.. what? That makes absolutely no sense, dude. All the members of Dragonforce didn't go to Juliard school of music and they don't all put out amazing instrumentals... ALL of the members have their own solos album, they are all top notch musicians.
Dragonforce is a lame excuse for "metal" players to use tab to learn poorly places solos over poorly structured chord shapes, and nobody even bothers to use chords anymore.. it's all about speed.
