My new video demonstrates the moving jaw capability on my mask. I'm making the costume for Nan-Desu-Kan and going as Kaida, my Charizard Pokemorph character.

The band is elastic and is sewn onto the ski mask/balaclava. The foam is attached with hotglue to the mask. The jaw is two separate pieces: the bottom jaw foam part is glued to the elastic band under my jaw. That way when I open my mouth, it pulls down on the band and opens the mouth. When I close my mouth, the elastic allows it to go back up!
... but true, the tissues are quite delicious...
