Cool presentation, it definitely stimulates the imagination of what can be done. Although, the logo was a bit to long. 7-10 seconds is acceptable.

The song is available in MP3 format. Just look around. Interestingly enough - this HBO intro ran all the way up 'till about 2003/2004 I believe. I was very sad when they stopped running it. "HBO3" was my online identity from 1997 until 2005.

The "Stargate effect" that's great! When I was a kid this intro used to scare the hell out of me. But at the same time it captivated me enough to make me do the one eye open one eye closed routine.

The behind the scenes look at the way HBO started things out was really cool. A blast from the past. I'm sure technology now wouldn't take that much time with the experience of programmers/multimedia technicians. It was just as inspirational as I remember it.
