I like how Ted Turner had a strange opinion on rich people back in part 3 him being one of the wealthiest. It was a bleak, very small window of reality that hit Ted Turner and then you see him scuff it off. Judging by his answers to these questions (from over 10 years ago) I'd venture to say that if Carl Sagan was alive today, he would be horrified at how quickly we've declined and how poorly today's people have been stewards of the planet. He'd probably be the most outspoken voice in America.
