You have every right to give away your content. It's called "Public Domain". So, just because you like to steal, doesn't make it right. I will protect my work and charge what I want for it. P.S. The song is boring and uninformative rant that invites more criminality. Wanting things for free destroys lives, livelihoods and demoralizes the individual. Even China has progressed somewhat beyond that brutality. If you don't want to pay for other people's hard work why don't you go live in a cave.

HEs not 'inviting criminality', maybe if you looked a TAD more into his music you would see he does a lot about 'over business'. Hes not asking for the world to be free, hes asking for the world to be real. I think a lot of us are tired of record label trying to sell us crap and calling it music, all the while trying to keep a death grip on the market of CDs and Digital downloads.

I completely agree, downloading music is illegal and shouldn't be done by anyone. However, I believe this song is about how the record companies need to accept that most people do it anyways. Also most of MC Lars' songs are just jokes (signing emo, ... Time machine..., etc) so I don't take this seriously. Just my take :)

Actually, MC Lars has defended people being sued by the RIAA for illegally downloading songs. He helped pay fines and legal fees of the defendants.
