This is an excerpt of the 30 minute speech supporting the Republican presidential nominee Barry Goldwater. Reagan speaks of big government, high taxation, and the "war on poverty." He addresses foreign policy issues including the risk of appeasement, "peace through strength," and the Vietnam War. The speech establishes Reagan as an important figure in the conservative wing of the Republican party.
To a significant degree, Ronald Reagan's election to the presidency stems from this speech, given on national television on behalf of, and sponsored by, Barry Goldwater's 1964 presidential campaign. The speech remains amazingly fresh as a statement of modern American conservative philosophy four decades after it was delivered.

But Obama pricked up his ears. He smelled trouble and while no media asked, he answered anyway. Sen. Obama's campaign immediately scrambled and contended they had returned the $33,500 in illegal contributions from Palestinians in Hamas-controlled Gaza, despite the fact that records do not show that it was returned and the brothers said they have not received any money.
Thus, was our deficit problem created which then led to our debt problem. The massive trickle-up transfer of wealth continues unabated.
You might want to trying thinking for yourself as opposed to mouthing what Rush and Hannity say.
The "enemies" are both Dems and Repubs, aka "Gang One and Gang Two" (per Tom Metzger). It's always been 'Govt Against The People'. And Ronald Reagan should know; in 16years he ruined CA and the U.S.
He was right about "Govt being the problem" ---the govt. being the corpocracy it is. This will not change no matter which goon is in the W/H.
He was a CFR member and a multi-billionaire--just like Putin is now. This speech is a "You and I" pile of doublespeak.
Happy days this will be the one that brings him down, kills his run, kicks the guts out of the liberal party and when they lose either by default for their crimes, or because the middle of the road voters will swing back to a muslim bigot.

-During Reagans presidency he decreased the tax rate of the
richest quintile from 70% in 1981 to 31% in 1988 (Joint
Economic Committee, 1990)
-In 1981, the beginning of Reagans presidency, the top 5% of
wage earners paid 35% of federal income taxes, while the bottom
50% paid 8%. By 1988, the end of Reagans presidency, the top
5% paid 46% of the federal taxes, while the bottom 50% paid 6%
(Joint Economic Committee, 1990)

And That Obama Was Only 8 Years Old When Ayers Was Bombing Buildings.
Gibbs Has Also Limited The Relationship Between Obama And Ayers To
Serving On Two Boards Together.

But Obama's Connections With Bill Ayers Are Much More Extensive Than
He Or His Campaign Staff Is Willing To Admit:
In 1995, During Obama's First State Senate Campaign, William Ayers And
Wife Bernadine Dohrn Hosted A Meeting Of Chicago Liberals At Their
Home For Obama, Which One Attendee Said Was Aimed At "Launching Him."
