I agree. Im not a big fan of Thai food though but chiang mai blue room makes great vegetarian food, mushrooms and all. Im not even a vegetarian. I love Vietnamese noodles tho. Pho Bo is the best.

im Thai and go to thailand about 2 times a year.
i always order Pad Siew. And Pad Thai. i get bored most of the times and my mum makes me eat different foods.
but i also love Beef Pho.
they actually are saying the same things in this video.. usually they only talk what they think they say...

pad thai very basic thai food think. I like to order a varietyof foods not just the same old boring food. All the westeners only eat pad thai. I think they should try different things. XD

Yeah! Pad-tai! The chef said "add about 3 tablespoons of oil" and I saw him added like a cup of the thing, then he said "and we'll add about a tablespoon of garlic." I saw him scooped 4-5 tablespoons into the wok. The chef really has a great humour.

the tip of how to cook it good is that, you need a flatted pan, strong heat and a very quick and continuous move. check some streetside in thailand and notice a large flatted pan then take some look.

I'm making Thai tomorrow and it is expensive, though worth it.. These ingredients in the states are quite costly. $50 so far & still gotta shop for more lol

As I am sitting here eating this recipe, I gotta say I was very skepical while pouring the full cup of fish sauce in the wok. It smelled SO BAD in the house!!! We didn't give up, though... we kept on going...
The only thing I did different with this recipe it that I used chicken and shrimp and added a whole lime's juices after that.

Try and asian market in your area. If you don't have any, do an online search for asian groceries. There are many places that you can get them online

If you buy your ingredients from an Asian store they will cost a lot less. Western supermarkets usually overprice things like fish sauce because they don't buy or sell in great quantities.
Also, remember that many of the ingredients can be used to make Pad Thai again (fish sauce, vinegar, tamarind sauce, peanuts , roasted peppers etc)
