The original by The Cure is absolutely amazing. Much better than any cover that I've heard. I really like their acoustic rendition though, I don't think that her voice lends anything to it :S

She.... is amazing. I saw her live at the O2 arena on Saturday the 1st. I've heard just about every version of this song, but I think her voice makes it the most effective... the womans touch and her amazing voice... makes the perfect song.

Wow! I have to admit, before watching this video I had low expectations for this cover but her voice is so delicate and full of longing that it adds whole new dimensions to the song. I think I'd still perfer The Cure though.
