I think the inner core buldges as it loses hydrogen, causeing the sun to expnad and contract, but the core and the rest of the sun will eventually collapse under the weight of its own mass.

Even if the Sun started expanding NOW, we would be long dead before it started drastically affecting us. The vid compresses roughtly a billion years worth of solar expansion in 1.5 mins.
Hopefully by the time this process starts we will be the undisputed masters of the universe :P

Amazind, sad and full of terror video. Imagine you have a family, hoping for a future, seeing your kids grow, when you know this is gonna happen and while you see it, your tears begin to evaporize in the air. So sad.

The only problem that I see with this video is that it doesn't show what would happen to Mercury or Venus, you sort-of just have to assume that they were vapourized. It's still an awesome and eerie video however.
