haha, i know a lot of vette fan boys were gonna have a hard time believing the GTR performance numbers but you really are having a tough time. Get over it.

atleast now i know what you don't like about the GTR. You're also Not going to like when Chevy put active yaw sensors in its Corvette for Active Handling in 90s. Add on Traction control systems and brakes that work like Porsches.....and the list goes on. And this is where it get interesting, y didn't Chevy stick to its 7.0 liter Z06 engine in the ZR-1 engine bay. Y did Chevy use the supercharger, I mean come on, I ain't buying a Cobra here. Chevy isn't really using raw rear power anymore.

Whatever happened to raw rear wheel power. I mean just look at Camaro, the LT1 engine was awesome and best bang for the buck when it came out, than came the LS1 which was icing on the cake but for 2010, they're think of having paddle shifters!!! I'm sorry but Chevy is either copying the Japanese or the Europeans or they realize that this technology is inevitable.
If you own a corvette from the early 90s and are able to control it on and off the track than i respect you for having pure muscle

as far as me getting over a zr1 being faster than GTR. I have no problem in admitting the ZR-1 is faster than GTR and at almost 100k dollars sits as the best bang for the buck.
But don't tell me that ZR-1 is Not laced with 100s of sensors and "magnetic selective ride control" to keep its rear wheels from hopping all over the road. Its NOT your pure or raw muscle any more. As for manual clutch in ZR-1, they didn't keep the same gear ratios as Z06 otherwise ZR-1 would've been eaten alive...

I think the battle would be a little closer than that in a less bias setting, tho the GTR very possibly would come out on top. Why the hell is he driving a Tiptronic Turbo though? WTF, has to be one of the VERY few automatics in Best Motoring. The Tip porsche's drive like garbage but our dumb ass sales men keep selling them b/c the 0-60 is faster, aside from that its terrible. Man we need DSG on this car, they did invent it after all (PDK).

Yes I did! Just crazy fast! They are talking about the V-spec beating this time, but seeing is believing. I would buy the ZR1 over the V-spec even if it does, just the brut power! Murdering just about anything on the streets, that's what counts for me!
