This is my port of the old Daedalus-N64 (not the one, that runs currently on the PSP). It neither looks perfect nor it is playable, but it shows a lot more than all other N64 emus for the Dreamcast. The video is captured at original speed. This is also the only game that goes ingame on the emulator.

dreamcast was way before its time, it was a excellent system and still is today, iam still buying up everything about it i can find, but the problem is now adays to many people expect to much out of it for its day, long live the dc.

actually the dreamcast is more powerful. the majority of psp games run at 222MHz altough the psp is capable of 333MHz. the dc most the time clocks at 200MHz but can be modded to clock at 333MHz and still plays the games fine. also the psp runs on a 32-bit processor, it makes up for its small processor with its advanced Vram chip. while the dc runs on a 128.the dc also has a much more powerful engine the powervr2. the dc also has a .01 color majority over the psp. amongst other things.

Seriously, hell yea. If only it played DVD's then people wouldn't have gotten a PS2. I didn't care about movies with consoles: I bought consoles for gaming, not for movies lol

The Dreacast kicks so much ass even to this day that the homebrew scene is still quite active. I still have mine and I bought a BBA and I'm playing Phantasy Star Online V2 on private servers...it's fucking awesome, I also have the VMUs, the awesome controllers, the lightgun everything it's awesome!

I remember people saying back in the day that you could never get any kind of emulation of 64 on the dreamcast...and yet the homebrew community always proves people wrong. Yea its slow but still damn amazing...

The DVD factor helped Sony out alot with the PS2, which is retarded because the Ps2 was a terrible DVD player. The PS3 is banking on the same concept with Blu-ray, which is rather pathetic imo.

He isn't wrong, technically the Dreamcast is superior hardware wise to the PS2. Gimmicks and bad marketing killed the Dreamcast in the US. Sega of America just didn't care imo.

dreamcast was better than ps2 quality,the Naomi board based DC is more powerful than the Ps2's Namco Type arcade version.The DC put out cleaner crisper,higher resolution images.Ps2 had a kinda washed out feel to the graphics in their games.

well, ps2 was more powerfull, hence games like gran turismo 3 and final fantasy x which would be hard to do on dreamcast. dreamcast is more "psp quality", but yeah, the ps2 had a washed-out feel and flicker problems. even problems with the framerate which all implyed that it wasn't all that great technically as sony stated. naomi 2 board is based on xbox hardware and xbox was much better on the hardware side than ps2
