200 POUNDS BEAUTY. ("Minyeoneun Goerowo") Kim Yong-hwa, the director of Oh! Brothers, is finally making his second feature length film. It will be a romantic comedy based on a best-selling manga written by Yumiko Suzuki. The story is about a chubby and plain young lady who undergoes plastic surgery which makes her drop-dead gorgeous. Cast in the lead role of Hanna is Kim Ah-joong (When Romance Meets Destiny) and Joo Jin-mo (Wanee & Junah, Real Fiction) will play opposite her as Sang-joon. Other familiar faces in the cast include Kim Yong-geon (Mr. Butterfly, Please Teach Me English), Seong Dong-il (Running Seven Dogs), Im Hyeon-shik (See You After School, YMCA Baseball Team), Lee Han-wi (April Snow), Lee Won-jong (This Charming Girl), Kim Hyeon-sook (Unborn But Forgotten), and Park No-shik (He Was Cool). This movie is a Zenith Pictures/KM Culture co-production.

This is pitiful, like someone getting paid to go to a Karaoke bar and getting famous for it. No talent, no writing ability, and CERTAINLY no originality. Debbie Harry even at 60 is still better looking, too. Ho-hum, yet another K-pop copy of original Western talent (but without the talent part).

Well, I've heard the original version. Honestly, I liked it well enough, but I don't see why you would mark this as unoriginal when it's only a damn cover. Though enlighten me, why would you say Kim Ah-jung has no talent?

Well, the original I like best, as in most cases when it comes to cover versions. But this doesn't sound all bad. I think I know why ppl call it crap n stuff, but a cover should be different, no? I think it's ok and there is no point in argueing about which version is better. I have heard much worse covers of great songs...
