De la Hoya won but the reaction to this fight is unbelievable. Oscar did not win by a wide margin and Shane won the biggest round of the fight when he hurt Oscar in the 9th. The firt half was closer than Lederman made out, Oscar was just throwing flashy but mostly ineffective combos to end the round, then he took most of the mid rounds and Shane finished stronger. I thought it was a 7 rounds to 5 for Oscar, maybe 8 to 4 if you want to stretch it. A bad decision yes, a robbery no.

I will love to see De La Hoya face Cotto. It promises A LOT. I am giving a slight advantage to Cotto because of his youth, but Oscar can still box and will give Cotto a very hard time.
