I can't stand your statement with all due respect. Here is what you fail to see in your perspective: It is fair and just to earn a honest living off your labor. It is much different when you steal, misrepresent, take advantage to make a profit. What is going on globally is the continuance of a pattern in history; the elitist hoarding of wealth with the misrepresentation of democracy.

The student loan, that you took out by your very own free will, didn't seem to help you study harder. You're still a tool!
How can you argue that a man has to be an ascetic in order to tell the truth?
And even if he's a millionare (good for him), his fortune is still a drop in the bucket compared with the trillions of dollars (yes, trillions!) of hidden wealth in the hands of a small elite (unaccounted for, or only in part, in the Forbes Fortune 500).

In today's society with no college edu, one is relegated to society's lower rungs living paycheck to paycheck.
Ad hominem attacks do nothing to support your argument and weaken your credibility.
It is a conflict of interest to profit from the same machine that one criticizes.
Trillions? Please support this claim with evidence. I am sure the IRS would like to know about this hidden wealth. If it were taxed, more aid might be available for "tools" like me to attend a Howard Zinn course

The IRS was created to pay interests charged by the (privately owned) Federal Reserve! The people who own the state banking system are the people with tremendous wealth.
A conflict of what interests? Zinn's interests is to enlighten, as well as to make money, to which he is entitled, is he not? Do you honestly think he ought to live off the land and sleep in a tent in order for his work to be credible?
I'll take the tool comment back, but I wrote it to be funny not to support the argmnt

Zinn's first book The Peoples History of US provided an invaluable insight into how Empires are formed and maintained, as America is so 'young'.OK it's mundane,making no mention of the occult workings behind the the people,their true motives.Brilliant all the same and totally accessible.
