Nakita Marie Ortiz was performing Sin Tu amor for a guest Jesse Borrego from Blood in Blood Out and Conair at the Blue Star Art Studio in San Antonio Texas. Nakita was going to be famous. She died when she was 18 years old from a drug overdose at a party. She was with friends who answered the phone and said she can't come to the phone because she is sick right now. They let her die crawling on a yard outside. She had told me she wanted to warn the other kids to watch who your friends are. And for one careless mistake, she paid for it with her life. She wanted to live. She wanted to be a famous singer. This song she was so well known for singing says a lot.
