ok. :0.hmmmm... it is good for a models(they usualy have perfect facial structure.. but... most of the ppl dont.. soooo we can make on the perfect chart face anything we want and it will look awesome.. but the thing is.. when is some one is goin to create or use the unperfect face chart?! for exsemle "big eye and no spase between the brows.. or small eyes and tiny lips.. or women with asian eyes..or what ever inpefectons? PS:forvive me for my miss spelling, i am from russia. thanks

ummm, they are just generic faces. it would just take longer for the artist to finish the look and whats the point of having imperfections? face charts are to recreate the look. they could always just show a look to help those imperfections. they just look great with anything because they are pieces of paper.

omygosh u r AMAZING!!! i'm so lucky i found this b/c i'm actually doing an art project based on face charts. see, i drew my own face and have been designing looks (with markers, some real make-up, and colored pencils). but i would really love to do looks with real make-up!!1 your tips are fantastic, BUT how do you propose i get the make-up to not stick or wear out/flake???? Help!!

hi jessica - nto sure what you meant by 'get the makeup to not stick or wear out/flake'. Im assuming, you mean when its designed on the paper and preventing it from fading. Just use a Fixative Spray on your work after you have completed it, and it will seal all the makeup product into the paper and will make them transfer proof and smudgeproof.

i like your tutorial and this one was great but i really have to ask you: how can you make this one on a real person, when you colour the PUPILS to give a dramatic look???
I mean, I know that this is a trick but it is mean, because it is not possible in real life.
or are there lenses you get with a coloured black ring?

sure, thats what I do - if they have some to spare, they wont have problems giving ya a couple. Other counters have face charts too like Dior and Clinique.

yeah, its a good way to plan where to place colors, or if a color will look good with another color, etc. Its also a great tool for artists to show their clients (like brides) on the ideas you have.

you want a textured paper, something like a linen texture is fine.
