So I probably have too much time on my hands, but . . . this is my video valentine to the people behind "From The Earth To the Moon." I've enjoyed watching it over and over and when I saw the "Behind the Scenes" featurette on the DVD, I just had to play around with editing it. Too many of those guys take very convenient pauses in the middle of their sentences!
I love the series and and I want to thank all involved.

| My only major regret about the mini-series is that it leads you to believe Deke Slayton never got to up in space because of his heart problem. In fact he did get to fly eventually, on the Apollo-Soyuz mission. I know it wasn't a moon mission but given his constant presence in the series, a brief showing or mention would have been really nice. |

| You are right. I forgot--don't they say "Deke never flew" in a voice-over? At any rate, Nick Searcy did such an excellent job with his portrayal and I'm so glad the real Deke Slayton got to go up! |

| I absolutely love this mini-series. I have it on DVD and watch it all of the time. It also has a new meaning to me since I have been fortunate enough to be able to meet several of the heroes that were able to go up. Truly an awe inspiring experience. Thanks! |
