Actually, YES you are. You know which sins are your business? YOUR OWN. Nobody else's. You know why Christ laid this message out? Because it distracts you from your OWN mission in Christ. There is NEVER a time when a human is so pure that they have room to judge the sins of others. NEVER. You're not supposed to condemn sinners with words, you're supposed to SACRIFICE of yourself for their sake. THAT is what Christ wanted. And THAT is why you ARE a hypocrite.

I doubt it's funny. If it was funny, like I said, you wouldn't reply to me every time. You can say something, but your actions tell me different. Maybe you should actually study the word of Christ before you start spreading your purely opinion-based versions.

Newwavewitch, you make a lot of good points, but I thought I should point out that you shouldn't argue with religious fanatics. They're taught to believe they're righteous and somehow have a God-given right to tell everyone else what's right and wrong. Nothing will change their minds. That's just how they're raised. This hatred and bigotry will constantly be happening. It's happened in the past, and it'll happen now. There's nothing you can do about it. :/

Oh I know that. It's just that, after 3 years of studying this stuff, it was a happy surprise to learn that right-wing Christianity's actions are not Christian at all. They're right-wingers first, Christians second. Which is sad, because I do know people who sacrifice of themselves for those in need, who preach the loving word of Christ, and follow the actual message Christ gave.

Wow I never thought of it that way. That makes sense. I just wish people would think for themselves instead of relying solely on blind faith. The kind of discrimination I see in extreme right-wingers and homophobic people (pretty much interchangeable) sort of reminds me of the Holocaust mentality. whatever....u may study it but u don't have a true relationship with Christ. The Holy spirit dwells in me and I speak in my pray language. I have revelation knowledge that only can given to me through the Holy Spirit.What is the since of knowing the word of God when u don't use it.That only means that u don't have Spiritual knowledge but only a wordly knowledge. But really I will not argue his the word of God that is not my place.So u have a nice life and I guess i will be the one praying for u.

They are purely opinion based. Your actions are contradictory to how Christ told you to spread his word.

I wish that too. Although I don't believe it, the message of Christ is one that people can benefit from: the radical principle of putting others before yourself, not rushing to anger, loving your enemies, sacrificing, etc. It's actually very Buddhist (there's a little hint from your friendly world religions student).
And it's sad because the right wing uses the face of the guy who gave us these principles to further their own political ideals, egos, etc. It's tragic and INFURIATING.

Dude!!!!!!!!!I'm not a religious person. The best thing about God is that you can choose what you want to believe so you are not being forced to do anything and Dude I don't believe you can spell.lol.I guess being an atheist explains this world to you really well. But it's amazing that the Bible was written over 2,000 years ago and everything that is happening in the world today the Bible said it would occur. I can't even explain it. So go for what you know which aint much.Peace.
