has anyone heard of Mitsuda's Levo Lution CD's??? It's a techno/trance remix of ChronoTrigger, Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy, and Secret of Mana music.
I just discovered it at chronocompendium. What do you guys know about it??

Chrono trigger set the bar so high it's going to take some genius and a lot of luck to eclipse it. The storyline alone makes me want to keep playing over and over again because it's that good, every character is so dynamic and endearing to the player that it's hard to choose between them sometimes.

Mitsuda was in fact a sound composer under Uematsu during the FFVI era, when Squaresoft (now square-enix) was making Chrono Trigger, Mitsuda asked to make the music, and Uematsu, recognizing his talent gave the go ahead. He ended doing one of the best vg sound tracks. After that, Xenogears and Chrono Cross were just sublime.
