do you want to have to switch octaves very often? i sure dont. im actually buying the 49 tomorrow. i like more room on the keyboard too. you could maybe play both low notes and high notes at the same time or something.

i went with the 49 aswell. I'm not a keyboard player, but i felt i could learn alot more on a 49, plus it just gives me more room for play and comfort.

Hi, quick question. I have a korg r3 and emx1 and a roland sp-555. i also have logic 8 on my mac and am looking for a controller simply to play the sounds in logic (eg the exs24) to complement my other hardware. however i feel that with something like this i could use logic for so much more than basically a sound bank. any tips or ideas etc?

it sounds like a shame that this device does not come with a power adapter as you mentioned, however you should mention that it works without as well. So, plug in USB and off you go.

i'd really love to work with a controller like this on ableton live or something like that. whats the point of having the extra midi port, is it so you can control more stuff?

I'd love to get my hands on something like this.:( I make a lot of music in Fruity Loops, but I don't own a midi keyboard so I have to 'draw' all the music in the program.:S This thing really looks fantastic but a bit over my budget.:/ Anyone know of a decent (not too expensive, cheaper than this) mini midi keyboard that works well with Fruity Loops?:S
